Employees respond well to incentives for good performance and to recognition for doing especially good work. Employers should not ever forget this if they want great performance from their employees. There are basically two ways to plan rewards: incentives and recognition -- and there really is no  reason why you need to choose one or the other.

Both are awesome ways to motivate! In the case of incentives employees are told right upfront what kind of rewards they will get if they reach a certain goal (1500 hours without an accident,; a project completed on time)  either by themselves or on a group basis.  Incentives really  do produce results, and work especially well if you are trying to promote specific targets or accomplish certain goals. In the case of recognition, the reward is more likely to come after the performance. This is a sign that you appreciate the effort your employee made. Every employer should make use of recognition.

This is a proven method of keeping your employees motivated and happy. Rewards don't have to be expensive -- no seven day cruise tickets  are necessary unless the company can afford it and the performance was really, really outstanding!!! What is important is that when you have a special promotion or a busy time  coming up, you get in the habit of planning rewards and doing something about it when you notice your staff doing things right. Inexpensive Ways to Say Thanks For A Job Well Done Almost all  of my customers provide their staff with a small token of appreciation at the end of the every year.

Some of these have expressed their thanks in the more typical way, as in a sweatshirt screenprinted with their logo, some sort of travel item, a stainless steel mug and other's have given out coffee mug sets, jackets or luggage. Acknowledge The Effort One of the most successful employers I know is very generous in the fact that he continually motivates and compliments his staff, it may be something as simple as leaving a "thank you" note on their desk, or he will take them out as a group once a month to a nice lunch.  His staff seem happy, and in turn, this seems to keep the office running very smoothly .

The atmosphere in this office is always very pleasant. Finding a Good Ad Specialty  Company Look for a salesperson that can provide you with reliable feedback, ideas and are genuinely interested in what you want to accomplish with your incentive. Avoid the "hard sale" and "pushy" salesperson.

You should have a good, open communication with this person and not feel uncomfortable or forced into buying something just because that is the product they are pushing.

The person that you work with should have your best interest at heart and should be providing you with creative ideas, as well as keeping your budget in mind!
